Schwiiiing! Where did THAT come from?!

This week was a little busy, after getting home we played around in the garden. Snipped this, admired that, cared for all of the little ones in the garden beds and just when you thought you knew every flower and leaf in the garden...

    BAM!


That is our 1st OMG(osh) moment in the garden to date. Diane saw it at an angle, while showing me the eggplant flowers., because looking at the cucumber plant directly - all that green, the vines, plus it's hanging low on the plant - you totally miss it.  :)

Then off to the left of the cucumber we have a Pumpkin or a Kabocha plant., compared to the cucumber plants which have small yellow flowers, this has - at least once a day - these huge yellow blooms. Plus we have a little visitor almost every day. Seems that I won't have to self pollinate with my soft bristle brush
