Take Root! (With some help)

I never use this stuff correctly. I've thinned out seedlings and dipped the roots in, I've made cutting and stick them in water (recommended is straight to soil)

But I always have to put it away when I'm done with it or Diane will have my Okole!

Over at Maryknoll they planted these beauties - It seems to spread well and low

The 1st cutting I did, was a long piece and straight into a jar of water. Over a few weeks I replaced the water in the jar, then once it rooted, it went into a pot w. Soil and now it's flourishing along the side of the house.

This time I used the rooting hormone and placed the cuttings into an old coffe container.

The directions say to place in soil, but as we've run out of potting soil - let's see what happens without it. :)
