Our little watermelon is slowly getting bigger. We've had a bit of luck - not sure why, but I'll take it.
So far just one good 'melon' and three small ones. Hoping for the best that they all stay alive and grow.
Update:
The watermelon vine died. And started to have a split in the bottom. Tapping the melon had a hollow sound, so we decided to crack it open.
Nice and sweet flavor - *shock* like a watermelon! :) But surprising it was like that at even this early stage. As most things we've grown and picked at an early stage, are either too tart or not as flavorful.
